Senior UX Functional Analyst: ERP Support City of Cape Town Municipality Offices

– In my role within the Air Quality Management Open Burning Application project, I undertake a multifaceted responsibility that encompasses various crucial aspects of the design and implementation process.

A pivotal aspect of my role involves actively engaging with the business to comprehensively gather design requirements. This entails a thorough understanding of the operational intricacies and objectives, ensuring that the resulting design aligns seamlessly with the overarching goals of the project. The gathered requirements serve as the foundation for my subsequent analyses and design decisions.

Drawing from these requirements, I meticulously analyze and create a design flow that optimally translates the identified needs into a coherent and user-friendly interface. This involves a strategic approach to information architecture, navigation, and visual design, ensuring that the end product meets both functional and aesthetic criteria.

A notable achievement in this capacity involves the conversion of traditional PDF application forms into digital counterparts. This transformative process not only streamlines the application procedure but also enhances accessibility and data management. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in developing a dashboard tailored for the citizens of Cape Town. This dashboard serves as a centralized hub, providing users with a comprehensive overview and control over relevant information, thereby contributing to an enriched user experience.

 

– Within my role in the Air Quality Management Fuel Burning Equipment Application, I played a central and multifaceted role in a comprehensive process aimed at optimizing the design and functionality of the application.

My responsibilities commenced with the collection of detailed design requirements from the business. This involved engaging closely with stakeholders to gather insights into the operational intricacies and objectives of the application. Following this, I conducted a thorough analysis of these requirements, delving into their nuances to extract essential elements that would inform the subsequent design decisions.

The implementation phase saw the transformation of these requirements into a thoughtfully crafted design flow. This involved strategic considerations in information architecture, navigation, and visual design to ensure that the resulting interface not only met functional criteria but also delivered an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

• I am responsible for design interaction on multiple projects as well as project and stakeholder management.
• I carried out designs at a VP level with deep technical experts within the design discipline at the relationship banking department.

Merchant SmartPay on CoZa: Merchant SmartPay is a product that was introduced to smile and big business for easy payment and I was privileged to work on the look and feel of the design and oversee the complete process of useability of the project.

Business Evolve-Need Analysis: Process enhancement for product validation Onboarding was a solution that was needed for businesses to onboard anyone on the Business Evolve products, this solution helps either Islamic business account or any other business account to be able to suggest the perfect account suit for your business.

Business Evolve-Tooltips: Tooltips is a smile solution that is needed on the ongoing project on Business Evolve products. This helps the user to understand and give more details of what they’re interacting with on the onboarding process.

Exciting Customers Overdraft RB Digital: Customer journey for existing overdraft customers on the web with one overdraft process for all users. Finding out the time customers spend on the digital channel to be too long and that can cause a drop-off on web overdraft applications. We came up with an easy and simple way to get our customers onboarded. I designed the complete workflow of the web application for an overdraft on RBD (Relationship Banking Digital)

Resume Process on Business Evolve – Additional Validation: The resume process for business evolve with additional validation is a way of getting our customers to be able to resume where they left off on their application on any of our products. (Business Evolve Application, Overdraft Application, Merchant self Service Application, etc.)

Setting Up Overdraft User Testing: User testing for Overdraft: I facilitate the user testing for the overdraft prototype with the help of the Designer Director Nelri Venzke. And we have Calvin Kabinde taking notes on why I run 11 sections of 12 with some SMEs that help us State out what they like on the overdraft Process and what they believed they will be like to see on the application process. This process helped us to put

together with the thought of our customers our design thinking, together and come up with the amazing, completed overdraft application that businesses love so much.

Overdraft User Testing Documentation Report For Business: It took 2 weeks for us to put together the user testing together with the help of Calvin Kabinde and me, the user testing documents was fully parked with information that help us and the business understand what way we need to go and factoring our customer’s observation into the decision making with regards to the overdraft Application process.

Business Evolve Application Upgrade & Steppers: I redesigned the business Evolve application flow with the request of the business, giving the application process new and dynamic looks and feels to the product and added steppers to the application flow so the customer can understand where they are in the onboarding process and from the starting point to the min and time the application with taking for them to complete.

Merchant Onboarding – Self Service Digital: New merchant customers cannot currently digitally onboard themselves and are required to engage with a Business Banker or Merchant Regional Sales Representative to be onboarded.
In some cases, this process takes a long due to customers having to wait to see a Business Banker or Sales Representative, thus causing frustration.

Solutions:

⁃  Enable our customers to run, manage and grow their businesses through a digitally self-service onboarding capability.

 ⁃  Creating a digital capability (Absa Digital Platform and Mobile App) for customers to independently be able to apply for 2 of the merchant products, these products include Smart Pay and Absa Mobile Pay, etc.
I Designed and completed the Merchant Self-Service wireframes for both Absa Mobile App and Smart Pay Service.

Merchant ISO Onboarding – Self Service Digital: Merchant ISO is an Absa vendor’s third-party way of onboarding new customers into Merchant Smart Pay / Mobile Pay products. I Designed and completed the Merchant ISO wireframes for both Absa Mobile App and Smart Pay Service.

I worked on arriving at a better solution together with my team.

CIB Project: OneHub – KYC & Sanctions Screening: I’ve worked on the system workflow for KYC & Sanction screening and come up with the user flow and design workflow on the user experience for both KYC & Sanction screening on the OneHub platform.

Analyzing the requirement of the client as well as the behavior of the users: I provide professional advice to the stakeholders on how should the website look and help increase the traffic and visitors to the Standard Bank Online Store and Online and Online Banking from the UX perspective.

With my professional advice, I helped increase the traffic and visitors of the Online Store and Online Banking from 1% visitors to 38% visitors just in the period of two months by providing the stakeholder’s outstanding documentation and recommendation of what should be added or taken out on the Online Store website pages.
