UX Process For Me

August 16, 2019

Stage 1 – Understand:

User: Know the problem the user is facing the working towards the solution

Brand: how does the brand you working on align with the mission and goals?

Stage 2 – Research:

Need to know that the user wants or doesn’t want in a design –

  • Interview
  • Focus group
  • Surveys
  • Usability Testing

Users are good for you to get your research going with your target users, that will give you more time and date that you need to get on with your project.

Stage 3 – Analyze:

Take all the data and start working with it, one way to layout your research visually is with a user persona.

Your persona will act as a guard when it comes to your design decisions,

Users journey map: this will help you map your process

  • Stage
  • Steps
  • Emotions
  • Opportunities

Stage 4 – Design:

Time to build the design, liked the side map, users flow, markups, and other visuals.

One of the most important things you can create at this state is the wireframes, the wireframes are the low fidelity frames of your product.

Stage – 5 Testing:

You get to work with the developer on the team to see to the product works and looks like the original design

Stage 6 – Launch:

After designing, redesigning and testing with your team, you can now see your end product.

Stage 7 – Check-Ins and feedbacks:

This is everyone job to test use the product and see what it’s working as it should for this is a team collaboration

State 8 – Analyze…Again:

Questions to ask here will be:

  • Where did our process go right?
  • Where did we struggle?
  • How are the users responding to the product?
  • Did we solve their issues and pain points?
